March 24, 2021 (Saskatoon, CANADA) – Vendasta is proud to announce its inclusion on the 2021 list of Best Workplaces™ for Women.

The list is compiled by Great Place to Work®, an independent researcher that recognizes the world’s best workplaces and publishes a national list in The Globe & Mail and Fortune Magazine. Those selected for the 2021 Best Workplaces™ for Women list are determined by survey feedback from employees.

To be eligible for the list, Vendasta had to be Great Place to Work-Certified™ in the past year, have a minimum of 15 female employees, and at least 90 percent of employees must agree that people are treated fairly, regardless of gender. The list was determined based on an overall Trust Index score from female employees. Data has a 90 percent confidence and a plus or minus 5 percent margin of error.

“We’re proud to know that people we work with every day feel they’re treated fairly, and our inclusion on this list should be a challenge toward greater diversity,” said Jean Parchewsky, Vendasta Vice President of People Operations. “More than 30 percent of our employees identify as women, and many are inspiring and aspiring leaders within our organization.”

“This isn’t about balancing scales, it’s about truly recognizing gender diversity—all genders—as an asset,” said Jacqueline Cook, Chief Operating Officer of Vendasta. “Diversity and differing perspectives not only make us stronger, but it’s a necessary ingredient to creativity and innovation. We must continue celebrating diversity as we grow.”

Vendasta is proud to highlight efforts toward a more inclusive and diverse workplace, including:

  • The leverage and use of compensation software to ensure fair pay
  • Maternity and parental leave plans with competitive top-ups
  • 33 percent female representation on its inspiring Board of Directors
  • Participation and support of Saskatoon-based Women in Tech events

Vendasta has more than 30 positions available across its divisions, including sales, marketing, research and development, fulfillment, customer service, finance, and more. Explore careers at Vendasta.
