Once again, we were pleased with the phenomenal turnout to VendAsta’s Ideas On Tap. The beer was flowing and the talk was non-stop with some of Saskatoon’s best computer software entrepreneurs.
We kicked off the afternoon with Kevin Kindrachuk, the CEO of Kijenga. Kijenga is the quickest and easiest way to find a contractor. How? All you do is post a project on Kijenga and the contractors find you. Watch as Kevin demonstrates:

Next up were the lovely Katherine Regnier and Romeo Iula to talk about their company Coconut Calendar – a hassle-free online appointment schedule system for businesses with an edge!

We also had a quick demo from VendAsta’s very own Jason Coutu who explained the Lean Coffee trend.
Interested? Well then don’t forget to come to Lean Coffee on October 10th at 7:00 hosted by Jason at the Broadway Roastery. Yes – it’s early, but there will be coffee! Loads and loads of coffee….
Last, but certainly not the least, was Kari Halsted to get us up to speed on Saskatoon’s next Barcamp. BarCamps are open conferences with participatory events whose content is provided by participants. Kari will fill you in with the details:
Remember, Saskatoon will host their next Barcamp on November 16th from 11:00am – 9:00pm at Greenbrye Golf and Country Club. Tickets are selling out quick so make sure to get yours! Check out more at Barcamp or follow them on twitter @barcampstoon.
